We have enjoyed lots of phonics and maths work outside due to the glorious weather. We completed our dance topic all to do with traditional tales, we loved imagining pulling up the enormous turnip in the much loved story 'The Enormous Turnip' and we really liked pretending to be the little elves in 'The Elves and the Shoemaker'.

Monkeys were very lucky to have a super Fantastic Finish on the final day. We dressed up as fairytale/ traditional tale characters and Widdershins Theatre Company came in and we watched the tale of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' and 'The Three Little Pigs'. It was great - we all really enjoyed ourselves! 

After this, we had a party in the classroom. Mrs Collier played party games with us and we ate lots of party food!! We were very lucky to be able to take lots of Easter treats home with us, thank you very much to our wonderful Friends of Kymbrook for our yummy eggs and thank you to all of the teachers in Monkey Class for our Easter surprises too!!!
