We have had a busy couple of weeks in Monkey Class! For all our Little Monkeys it has been a new and exciting time. We have learnt classroom routines, how to share and take turns with our new friends and how to sit beautifully on the carpet! Our Big Monkeys have had the important job of showing the little monkeys how we behave in school and they have done a fantastic job! I am super proud of all the children. 

Last week we decided to make the most of the apples Miss Stewart had collected and baked our own apple pie which we enjoyed eating for our afternoon snack. The children all learnt how to use a peeler and knife to prepare the apples. 

This week we have been discussing families and what makes us the same and different. The children have had some great discussions about their families. We have painted our families, labelled them, drawn things we like that make us different to our families and the Big Monkeys also completed some writing about their family.
