Kymbrook Primary School

Week Beginning 24th May 2021

Well we have had another fun filled week here in Monkey Class! There are so many lovely homework pieces coming in for our topic of the term ‘What’s in my suitcase?’ So many children’s sunflowers are growing too. It’s exciting, the competition will be coming up soon, we’re all wondering who will win!!

We have been working hard with money this week; learning how to count up and down a money number line, working out how much change we get from various prices. We had chance to role play in a little shop that Mrs Miles made up for us. That was great fun taking it in turns to be the shopkeeper and the customer.

We had a super time with our music lesson. Mrs Collier says it’s a new scheme that Mrs Smith has found for us. We really enjoyed singing along and moving to the different beats.

On Friday was break the rules day. We came in with tattoos, coloured hair, some of us even had spiky hair too! We had so much fun joking about what rules we would break but we weren’t really naughty – Mrs Collier, Mrs Miles and Mrs T all say we are the best behaved class ever!!!!
