Kymbrook Primary School

Friday 11th June 2021

Hope you had a good half term.  This week was a bit slower but still exciting.  We got Monday off as an extra holiday day for teacher training.

We were lucky to welcome a new addition to our class for this half term.   He arrived from Malaysia to join in our fun until the end of the year.  We are privileged that he is able to join us.

With Miss Young, we made catapults out of Lego.  We designed and built them and then fired paper cannonballs at each other.  It was really fun.  Almost all of them worked.  It was quite a challenge but we stuck with it and got there in the end.

This week also saw lots of new clubs starting at school.  We could decide which clubs we wanted to go to because some were at lunch and some after school.  The H & M lunchtime games club was very popular.  We also had mindfulness colouring and board games, along with the two P.E. clubs from Premier Sport, football and netball and Rugby with Matt.

In French, we watched the movie Ratatouille because there is a French dish called ratatouille and Madame Kaler gave us the recipe if we wanted to try and make it.

We also got to meet our new P.E. teacher Mr Carms and we did loads of fun athletics.  In P.E., we did races against each other.

Read next week to get more exciting adventures. We hope you had a good week too.
