Welcome to our blog....this week has been lots of hard work!

Monday, we went to Mrs Smith's class to find out about our Keystage 2 play, Go For Gold.  We auditioned for it and most of us got the parts we'd wanted but all of us got a part to play.  We think the songs are catchy and that the play will be really funny.  It will be performed on 12th July 2021, but sadly we will only be able to record it as due to coronavirus, parents won't be able to come watch the live performance.

We learned how to email on Purplemash with Miss Young.  At first, it was a bit tricky for some of us but once you got the hang of it, it was easy.  Our first email was to answer Miss Young and when we were confident with that, we got to email other people in the class.

In P.E, we did some athletics.  We threw discus, shotput and hammer throw and did long jump.  We practised running the distance around the whole field.  Some of us found it shorter than others....some found it was a very long way.

We did some reading, maths and grammar tests this week.  A lot of us found them easy...but not all of us!  We're glad they are over and we're ready to start a new fresh week.

Cheerio for now.  See you next week.  Come on England....buck your ideas up!  You can beat Germany!
