Since we came back after Easter, our main focus has been preparing our Year 6 children for their SATs which start next Monday. Year 6 are doing brilliantly and Year 5 have also been amazing too (Mrs Smith thinks that secretly some of them would like to have a go at their SATs this year, they are so well prepared!) We have been spending the first part of each morning doing some revision tasks for reading, grammar, punctuation, spelling and maths and then after break time we get on with our normal day! 

Our topic this term is Ancient Greece. We are really looking forward to getting stuck in with this!

Already this term, we have been on a sports visit to Sharnbrook Academy. We had great fun doing a variety of Olympic sports and were very proud that four of our class received sports values certificates. 

This morning, we had a visit from the NSPCC, delivering a workshop called 'Speak Out, Stay Safe'. We spoke about different types of abuse, who our safe adults are and about the Childline phone number and website.
