Little Monkeys are now able to read and write many cvc words!

Big Monkeys have been looking at punctuation to make their sentences clearer and we discussed what describing words are too.

We have been looking at Autumn this week. We have had some lovely stories and PowerPoints as well as learning some nice Autumn songs.

Monkeys really enjoyed carrying out a ‘Body Percussion’ activity where we made sounds with parts of our bodies and the highlight of the week was the cake sale, which was in aid of ‘Crisis Event’ – the homeless charity. Because there were some cakes left over, Monkeys had a second one in the afternoon with their milk!
