Welcome to our blog

Monkeys loved making their very own ‘Bog Babies’ out of clay and various wildlife such as grass, dandelions, buttercups twigs and leaves during Forest School on Monday afternoon. We named them too!

We have been working hard with ‘Time’ in Maths this week. Little Monkeys looked at days of the week and we read ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. We also tried to find out how many times we could carry out certain actions in 1 minute such as hopping, jumping, clapping etc…

Big Monkeys played ‘What’s the Time Mr Wolf?!’ and we had to show the o’clock time on our own little clocks. Big Monkeys also enjoyed a lovely board game to practise their o’clock work and all of the Monkeys liked played telling the time games on the big board.

Our story of the week has been ‘The Zoo Vet’ – we also looked at why we celebrate Bonfire Night, we drew pictures and pretended to be fireworks. It was great on Friday as we had our first Achievement Assembly in a while. We got to see who are our new Head Boy and Head Girl are. We also got to vote who should be our House Captains. It was exciting!
