On Monday, we finished off our end of year assessments- PHEW! We all did an amazing job and we have shown brilliant progress from the start of the year.

A couple of our Year 6 children have been on transition visits to their new schools this week. They were pleased to be able to see their schools and to meet a few new potential friends.

On Thursday, we spent the whole day having our first rehearsal of ‘Go For Gold’. We are trying to learn our lines off by heart and to give our acting a bit of oomph!

Mrs Rahman taught us about Islam on our RE morning on Wednesday. She kindly bought in a whole range of artefacts to show us, including prayer mats, the Qu’ran, head coverings for prayer- which we enjoyed trying on- and a special call for prayer clock.

This morning, we are looking forward to joining a special live stream called ‘BookTastic’. The author of a book called Twitch, MG Leonard will be telling us all about her writing.

That’s it for now, we are off to do some stretches ready for Sports Day this afternoon!
