Kymbrook Primary School

Friday 9th July 2021

Thanks for joining us for another update from Lion class. What a hectic week it has been!

Over the last two weeks, we have undertaken a mini Maths project all about spirals. We learnt how to draw them using three different techniques: Archimedes, Baravelle and with the Fibonacci sequence. It was really tricky but once we got the hang of it we had lots of fun.

Before our school reports are sent home, we had to review the past academic year and the progress we have made in all areas (both school and home). We then wrote what we could improve on for next year.

On Wednesday, Lion Class had some new members as the Year 4 Zebras became Year 5 for the morning. The new Lion class is going to be just a great as the current one. Our leaving Year 6 children spent the morning reminiscing and writing memories of their time at Kymbrook.

Our very talented musical students put on a wonderful concert for the two key stage bubbles on Thursday morning. It was obvious to see how much practise they all do as the concert was amazing. All the teachers and pupils enjoyed it very much.Image preview

Rev Tim came to have a chat with our Year 6 leavers. He came to reassure us about the next stage of our lives and moving to Secondary school. We were kindly given a Bible.

We have got another two busy weeks ahead.

Enjoy your weekend and COME ON ENGLAND!
