Kymbrook Primary School

Friday 17th September

Weeks 6/9/21 and 13/9/21

I hope you have had a great summer holidays. Welcome back to our blog!

We have had a new class come in to our school called Forest School. It is run by Ranger Carly and Ranger Nina. We have made Bog Babies, played 1-2-3 Hide and Seek and made bracelets out of nature. It was really fun!

Mrs. Thompson comes in every Thursday to be our teacher when Mrs. Morgan is doing SEND work. She was teaching us about volcanos and what is inside the Earth. We learnt about the inner core. We did computing on Purplemash. The best bit was 2 Race. She also picks a star of the day. Grace was the star in week 1 and Joey was the star this week.

We had our Sparkling Start and made yummy bread and built dens. We also looked at facts about Stone Age on Horrible Histories and it was really funny. We all got to dress up in cave dweller costumes and jewellery. The day was amazing and we had a brilliant time.

We have P.E. with Miss Inskip. We are doing tag rugby at the moment.

Assemblies are back on and we love them. We’ve already had six.

We have Mme Kaler for French. Year 3s think starting to learn French is lovely. Year 4s are really happy to be doing French again because we get to do a bit harder work.

We are collecting house points again this year but starting this year we can earn a mufti day for our house by collecting the most points over a half term.

Today is Jeans for Genes day and we have worn our mufti and jeans to raise money for a very good cause.

Hope you liked our blog. See you next week for more exciting Zebra news
