Kymbrook Primary School

1/10/21

Well, it has been quite a different week in Monkey Class!

We have had some Monkeys in school each day and some Monkeys have been learning at home, Mrs Collier has had to stay at home this week too. Both Mrs Miles and Mrs Beard have been in with us Monkeys at school and they have done an amazing job of keeping everything running – big thanks to both of them for that!!

Little Monkeys have continued to work hard with their letter formation and can now write the letters s, a, t, p, i and n. Big Monkeys are still concentrating hard with their tricky digraph words. They have then been putting those words into sentences – their handwriting and sentence work is really coming on beautifully!

We have enjoyed looking at some lovely books in our ERIC time – we have then gone on to complete some tasks from them. We have found it exciting to play some great number games from Topmarks, and those of us in school have enjoyed PE with Premier Sports and on Thursday afternoon, Mrs Miles took us in to the hall to play some games – thank you Mrs Miles!

A HUGE well done to all of the Monkeys who have worked so hard this week – whether you have been in school or at home - Oscar, Erin, Ashley, Henry, Darcey and Albert - AMAZING online learning, thank you to all of your wonderful parents and carers for their support.
