Welcome back to our exciting blog.  We have got a lot of cool and amazing things that you will be interested in.

Last week on Tuesday, was Chinese New Year.  We did some really nice activities in English and maths and learned about the story of Chinese New Year.  We did some tiger mindfulness colouring and facts as this is the year of the tiger. Some of us had the special Chinese lunch and it was good.

In forest school this week, we got to sit around a fire and roast some marvellous marshmallows.  They were magnificent!

We added more into our PE dance that we are going to perform at the Sharnbrook Creative Arts festival.  It is coming along really spectacularly and we have no doubt it will look amazing when it is done.

Tuesday afternoon we were very lucky to have a visit from a Paralympian athlete named Sean Rose.  He was a BMXer when he was young and then he joined the RAF and had some amazing adventures.  He got hurt downhill skiing.  He tripped and went head over heels like a javelin with his head stuck in the snow.  He broke his back and spinal cord and this has left him paralysed but that has not stopped him.  He has had many amazing adventures since then and has won lots of different medals in water skiing and downhill skiing in world championships and the Paralympics….along with some very interesting accidents.  He came and did 4 different exercises in a circuit with us – star jumps, spotty dogs, push ups and mountain climbers.  It was so much fun.  Then he did an assembly that was so inspiring.

Thank you for reading our amazing blog.  See you after half term.  Happy half term!
