Welcome to the latest Lion class weekly blog.

This week we have made a start to our KS2 end of year play. The play we are going to perform is called ‘Go For Gold’ and it is set in both the modern day and Ancient Greece. We have had a first read through, a listen to the songs and had some auditions. Today we are going to find out our parts- EXCITING!

Our Greek myths are now pretty much finished and we have been working hard to type them up. Next week we will have a session to share our myths with each other.

The children in Year 6 who are moving up to Sharnbrook had a visit from Mrs Green, one of the Assistant Principles. We were able to ask her lots of questions about the school. We know it is going to be a big jump (there are over 1900 students, 130 staff and more than 80 classrooms!) but we are all feeling more confident about the change.

At the end of the week, we have been working very hard on our end of year assessments. It hasn’t been the easiest of years, but we are all doing our very best to show all the progress we have made.

That’s all for this week. Join us next Friday for more news.
