Friday 20th May 2022

Hello and welcome back to more amazing Zebra News!

Through the last few weeks we have had a really fun time.  Most of us went to Grafham Water for our residential trip.  We also met up with Thurleigh there. It was really, really fun.  There were loads of challenges such as high ropes - crate stacking and pole climbing, low ropes, pioneering, climbing, archery, Grafham Challenge, problem-solving and kiting.  On Tuesday evening we had a movie night and watched Despicable Me 3. In our bedrooms, some of us didn't get to sleep very early because we were so excited. The girls were on the top floor with rooms for Kymbrook and rooms for Thurleigh and the boys were on the bottom floor. We had to bring a packed lunch on the first day but for the rest we ate in the cafeteria - the food was very nice.

A couple of us weren't able to join the trip but they did their own exciting things.  Some were away and some joined the Year 5/6s for Wednesday afternoon to learn about the Queen.

On Friday we had Pyjamarama Day! We got to come to school in our pj's so that we could pretend to go to sleep at school and we did some cool activities.  We raised money for the Book Trust charity so that they can continue to give books to children who need them.  We raised £66.99.

This week we have been learning about money in maths. We are finding it fun but some find it very difficult.

Thank you for reading this week's blog.  See you next time for some more Zebra News.
