The class have been amazing and settled really well to a new term.

We have all enjoyed starting our new topic of, Amazing Adventures, Exotic Animals and Golden Sands. The story of Grandad's Island has helped us to start to think about adventures in other countries and places. Our Beach Day on Thursday was a lot of fun. The class had the opportunity to play at the beach and collect stones, shells and chalk. We blew bubbles, made sand castles and painted beach pictures. We made huge ships in the outside area and enjoyed role play of holidays and adventures. Mrs Beard was kind enough to let us look through her special scrap books of postcards from her travels. We so enjoyed hearing each others stories of holidays and adventures with our families. We made and ate our own fruit kebab and ended our busy day with an ice pop.
