Week beginning 3rd May 2021
Well it’s been a crazy week in Monkeys! We have been dodging the showers – poor Mrs Collier, Mrs T and Mrs Miles have been like yoyo’s – they have been moving things out then moving things back in again so that they don’t get soaking wet!
We have enjoyed learning all about capacity this week – we carried out a little experiment to see which of the bowls belonging to Goldilocks and the three bears held the most water. We loved working that out! All the Big Monkeys then recorded their findings in a block graph.
We had great fun for our ‘Sparkling Start’ – we dressed up in summer clothes. It was a little chilly at times whilst we were outside, but we still had fun though! We sang ‘Oh I do like to be beside the seaside’ and we played some fun seaside activities.
Lots of us have been bringing in models of a sun scene which was one of our homework suggestions from our homework grid. Mrs Collier was so pleased and happy with us for doing it that they have been put near the main office on display so that the rest of the school can see them.
