Friday 22nd October 2021

Hello there!

Well we made it. Well done to all of us – the children, the parents and all the teachers.

We have had a very busy term as we’ve had a few weeks to catch up on since the corona caught us out!

However, it has been lovely that everyone has been in class since then – 100% attendance for the last couple of weeks which has been super.

On Monday, Forest School was spent happily collecting objects around the grounds which were all different colours of the rainbow. They had a great time, even though it was pouring with rain! Forest School really is in all weathers.

On Wednesday, everyone got a chance to be artists in the style of Jackson Pollock. It was really good fun.

Plus, we had a brilliant time today.

It was our Marvellous Middle Day - WE LOVE ANIMALS!

We played lots of party games and we had to be good sports if we were out. There were consolation prizes and prizes for the winners. The games included animal chance, animal statues, animal bumps and animal musical chairs. There was lots of fab animal music.

One of the best parts of the day, was being able to watch a film – ‘The Wild’ – a great adventure story.

At the end of the day, we all enjoyed a party tea, with squash, biscuits and crisps (animal ones of course!)

Phew…what a day it has been!

Plus, don’t forget to look out for our Harvest Performance we posted on Seesaw today.

Have a great half term everyone.

Love from the Meerkats. x
