Friday 14th January 2022

Happy New Year! It's great to be back to Kymbrook and all the children seemed happy to be back in the field with us. It was lovely to hear all about what they had got up to over the Christmas break and what presents they had received!

This week was a great as always as they all showed lots of independence by choosing from the selection of available activities like art, dens, etc. They really do know what they need to do now and how they go about them! This makes me so happy! One child from Monkeys had even brought in her own stick from home which she wanted to whittle with a potato peeler! They remembered all the positioning of the action and what to do which was fantastic!

Next week is VERY exciting as we now have tools ready to use. We have things like loppers, knives, hand screwdrivers to get started with. I literally can't wait for this as I know the children are more than ready to make this next step! I am really looking forward to seeing what things they decide to make.

Another fabulous week, can't wait for next week.
