In the last few weeks, we have been putting ourselves forward for some of the Year 6 roles. All the school voted for Head Girl and Head Boy and it was decided that this year these would be:

Head Girl - Alyssa

Head Boy - Joey

Today it was the turn of those year 6 who wanted to be House Captain to put themselves forward. They prepared a little speech which they presented to all the other children in their house. It was a very tight run thing, but the results are as follows:

Jeffries: HC is Anthony and Deputy HC is Evalyn

Stocker: HC is Ava and Deputy HC is Isla

Greenwood: HC is Jack and Deputy HC is Emily

Well done to all of you and to those who put themselves forwards and didn't win, well done for your commitment. 

We have been doing some geography work about the UK and have begun to practice for our Harvest Festival next week. 

In English we have been reading some more from our book 'Wonder'. We are currently writing a balanced argument text about whether Via's parents have been good or neglectful. We have had some excellent discussions about this!
