This is in return for donations to the Friends of Kymbrook Christmas hampers. Suggested items include toiletries, Christmas crafts or festive food or drink. 

Raffle tickets will be sent home and be available to purchase soon.

We would also like to have a cake sale during the school day. We would be very grateful for cake donations (no nuts please). If there are any leftover cakes, these will be available to purchase after school. Cakes will be priced at 50p each.

Please could you bring any cake donations to school on Friday morning.

The children can come into school with a crazy hat or hairstyle and wear their own clothes to complement the look.

Children can bring their cards to trade. Preschool will provide some Pokémon goodies, badge making, and a snack.

Suncream will need to be applied in the morning before they arrive at school. If you wish them to reapply suncream, you are welcome to send some in to school, but the children must be able to do this themselves. Please label the suncream to avoid any confusion.

Please remember to send in a water bottle for the children also.

With Grafham Water on your doorstep, we thought you may be interested in hearing about our upcoming Easter Egg Hunt Event.

Hidden around our park are giant Easter Eggs, each one decorated by a group in our local community.

Our local groups currently getting crafty include:

• St Ives Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association
• Kimbolton Primary Academy
• And your very own Kymbrook Primary School!

The challenge is to hunt down all the eggs and complete your trail sheet with the spring word located at each Egg. Once you have found all the Eggs and completed your sheet, head back to the Visitor Centre to claim a sweet treat.

The trail is free of charge, so put spring in your step and hop along to our Visitor Centre for your trail sheet!

We would also love to invite any willing parents, carers, grandparents to come into school to read a favourite book to the children at around 9am. Please contact Mrs Smith or the office if you are interested. Thank you

KI will be taking photos of the event to use in their publicity. We are already aware that some children are not to be photographed, and we will make sure that they are not included in any taken. 

If you are not happy with your children's photo being used for publicity by Keysoe International, please could you contact the office to let us know before the 14th February so we can make sure your child/ren are not in any photos taken while the ponies are here with us.

KS1 (Monkeys and Meerkats) can draw or colour a picture of their class animal to enter.

KS2 (Zebras and Lions) must draw a picture of their class animal.

It needs to be A4 size. It can be in any medium you choose (felt tips, coloured pencils, paints, pastels) and it can be in black and white or colour.

There will be a prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each class and all winning entries will be displayed in school.  Everyone entering will get 2 house points for having a go!

Each rule costs 50p to break and the rules are:

Friends of Kymbrook will be serving hot chocolate after school tomorrow for £1.

♻️ To avoid so much cup waste, we are encouraging children to bring in their own cup. To say thank you, they'll get a chocolate biscuit with their hot choccy!

We will have cups (without lids) if they do forget. Thank you.

It is important to note that the car park is not owned by Kymbrook Primary but by Keysoe Village Hall. We are grateful to the Village Hall that they have offered their car park for parents/carers to park when dropping off and picking up their children from the school. Understandably, continuing work may cause some frustration due to the limited parking within the village, particularly if you may need to find alternative parking, but we greatly appreciate your understanding whilst work continues.
