School Uniform policy

Dear Parents and Carers,

You may be aware of some changes in legislation regarding school uniform in all schools. Schools must now follow statutory guidance which requires them to make sure uniform is affordable for all. The Department for Education (DfE) cost of school uniform guidance means schools in England must ensure that school uniform costs are reasonable, and parents get the best value for money.

As part of these new rules, we are also required to survey our parents/carers to get their views on our new school uniform policy and to share any views that you might have with us. In due course, teachers will also talk to children in their classes to get their perspective on school uniform

We really value your views, so please find attached our draft school uniform policy which has been accompanied with a short survey which can be completed on weduc.

Thank you for your input on this.

I would also like to wish you all a very happy and relaxed half term and we will see the children back in school on Tuesday 7th June.

Kindest regards,

Kathy Augustine
