One of the children's classes in this year's The Village Show at Keysoe is all about sunflowers - who can grow the largest sunflower head?!

To kick start the competition in Keysoe and the surrounding villages we've given Kymbrook Primary School in Keysoe a bunch of pots, sunflower seeds and compost. Over the next few weeks all the pupils at Kymbrook will be planting a sunflower or two each and bringing them home. When your kids bring them, please encourage them to keep the plants well nourished, and maybe plant some more - we'd really like to see a forest of sunflowers this year!
