Welcome back to Forest School news!

Well, it was so wonderful to be back to forest school but this year with a couple of changes. The first is that Ranger Carly has moved onto pastures new so from now on I will be a 'Lone Ranger' we wish her well in her new job. Second, we have now moved to forest school happening all in one day which I feel will be a great success and easier for parents to remember when to bring in their equipment!

Last week was our first week and it went great! Monkeys and Meerkats are together this year so we kicked off with a session of "123.... where are you?" which is a great way to introduce all the little Monkeys to our call back at the end of the session and to remind the Meerkats too. Lots of running around and shouting so great fun!

After lunch, Zebras and then Lions came out. They got straight back into it doing some fabulous whittling, den building, bug finding, nature crafts and potion making. I really am looking forward to seeing all the exciting things the rangers of Kymbrook get up to this half term.
