It has been an amazing week!

On Monday we enjoyed a concert given by all of Mrs Edward's violin and piano pupils. They played so well! In the afternoon, we went to the church for our KS2 Christingle service.

On Tuesday we watched the younger children do the dress rehearsal of their play 'Whoops-a-daisy Angel'. It was very cute.

On Wednesday we had the treat of watching another performance by the Theatre of Widdershins. This time, Andy told us the stories The Magic Porridge Pot and The Gingerbread Man. They were as wonderful as ever!

On Thursday, we had our topic Fab Finish, which was to hold a VE Day celebration tea party. We had the help of 4 fabulous WI ladies in the morning to help us make all the delicious food. We made pasties, sandwiches, apple cake, parsnip pudding (not so nice!) and other things. Lots of parents came to join us, which was wonderful. Our special guest was a lady from our village, Des. She had already been in to tell us about her experiences of being evacuated during the war and so it was lovely to see her again.

Next week is our last week, in fact just two days. On Monday we are having our class party and on Tuesday we are going to the panto at MK. Woohoo!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
