Another very busy week here!

We have been off-timetable this week as most of our time has been spent having a science week! We have covered two units of science from the topics 'Living Things and Their Habitats'. We have learnt about reproduction of plants and animals, life cycles of mammals (placental, monotremes and marsupial), amphibians and insects. We have set up an investigation to see if we can artificial show asexual reproduction in geraniums. We also learnt about microorganisms and right now our classroom is full of slices of bread in sealed sandwich bags waiting to see whether we can encourage mould growth by changing the conditions.

We also had our second swimming session, which we loved!

We have also got lots of Greek work on the go - we are writing our own Greek style myths and have almost finished our fabulous Greek themed games in DT.

Another busy week coming up!
