We have spent time learning all about people from different countries and cultures in our first week. 

This week we have read the story Whatever Next'. The children have enjoyed sequencing the story and making their own lists of items they would take to the moon. In our maths lessons this week we have been learning about 3D shapes! We even built our own rockets using 3D shapes. 

During our PE lesson with Miss Stewart the children learnt about the Olympics and the different sports that are included. As a class we learnt how to play dodgeball, which then led on to the children making their own dodgeball pitch in our outside area to continue the game. 

We are looking forward to the warmer weather and getting the chance to start our gardening.
