The children in Meerkats Class are ready and raring to go in their learning and playing for 2024! 

Meerkats have been thinking about their Christmas holidays and writing about what they got up to. 

In Maths, we are learning about Measurement, in particular Time this week - days of the week, and o'clock.  

There will be details sent out soon on the website about our Topic and a Topic-related Homework Menu of activities to enjoy and this will appear on Seesaw.  Thank you for supporting your child with their homework - it was lovely to have nearly all homework folders back and I have really enjoyed looking through it.  It is lovely that Meerkats children are keen to complete their homework - it is so useful for their learning.

On a final note, Mrs. Morel, Mrs Miles and Mrs Hood would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the children (and parents!) for their kind cards and gifts that were received before we broke up for Christmas.  

Exciting times ahead with our new topic "Once upon a Time" - all about Fairy Tales...
