We discussed where Grandad might be and how Syd felt when Grandad wasn’t at his house the next day.

The children created portraits of Grandad paying attention to his features, such as how many fingers he has on each hand and where his facial features are.

During Literacy we learnt how to write a postcard. We discussed what a postcard is and looked at examples from around the world. The children then worked with Miss Stewart to write their very own postcard.

The children have learnt about numbers 10 and beyond this week. We had a time trial to build towers 1 to 13. Then we learnt how to tally up to 14 whilst playing a target game.  

Next week our learning will be based around the book Flat Stanley. It's a great book!
